How to use the Labels
With the Manual Thinking Removable Labels you can collect all thoughts, ideas and opinions of your team members. For a quick communication of their content it is important for everyone to make clear and concise notes, if possible with drawings. There are 12 types of removable Manual Thinking labels, including 5 different sizes and 6 different colors. They are generally used in the following way:
Large Circles: Ideas and (sub)titles in written words and sketches
Medium oblongs: Brief written content, keywords, opinions
Coloured oblongs: Add categories, highlight content or follow specific colour related methods
Small oblongs: Single words, elements, names
Small circles: Numbers and letters for indexation
Draw-Cut-Paste: Doodles and illustrations without boundaries
XL Circle: Print method templates
Removable lines: Connect labels, visualize hierarchy through different thickness
Organizing the Labels
Once you and your team members have created some labels, you can organize them on the surface of a Manual Thinking Map.
When organizing the labels on a map, follow these suggestions:
* Place labels with similar content close to each other
** When content is different, place distant
*** When content is the same, overlap the labels slightly (visualize each!)
**** When a group of labels with similar content is detected, find and note their common concept in a different colored label and place it in the center.
